I have been breeding Ragdolls for 10 years and are now showing them as
well as my maine coons.  Both breeds are similar in personalities, for the
exception of maine coons can be more active in personality.

Ragdolls do not reach full maturity of size and color for up to 3 years. Males
averaging 15 to 20 pounds and females are about 5 pounds less. They are
large, lovable cats that love to be held and cuddled. They are to be kept
strictly indoors due to their lack of the normal fighting instinct that other
cats possess.

Ragdolls do demand attention. The Ragdolls enjoy sitting with you as well
sleeping with you. If you are a family or person that loves a laid back
affectionate cat, then a Ragdoll is for you.

Ragdolls are truly unique cats. They have sweet, lovable personalities with
gentle temperament. They want to be where you are and will follow you
everywhere. They earned the name Ragdoll by their tendency to go limp
when being held. They have silky, plush, non-matting fur and a big fluffy tail.
